2
How does payment work?
Spaces for this Endorfina retreat are intentionally limited. Registering your interest lets us know you’d like to be considered for this experience.

If invited, you’ll have 48 hours to confirm your spot with an €850 deposit. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the retreat start date.

Your invitation will include full payment details, available options, travel insurance guidance, and the complete terms and conditions of booking so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
3
Are there payment plans?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of €850 had to be made while booking. The remainder is due March 1st, 2026. If a payment is made after the due date, a 10% late fee will be added to that installment. If an installment is more than two weeks late, your spot will be cancelled without a refund.
4
When does the retreat start?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, with our opening welcome dinner at 6:00 PM.
We suggest arriving in Portugal a day or two early to ease into the time zone, explore a bit, and arrive at the retreat feeling settled and present.

Our travel advisor can help assist with pre-retreat stays in Lisbon, Ericeira, or surrounding areas, making it easy to turn your retreat into a more complete Portugal experience.
5
When does the retreat end?
Check-out is at 12 pm on Monday, May 11th 2026. We recommend staying at least one night more in Portugal after the retreat. Guests often choose to stay one night in Lisbon before flying out after the retreat. Our travel advisor is available to assist with accommodations and onward travel as needed.
6
Is the venue private?
Aethos Ericeira is a boutique hotel, and the retreat does not take over the entire property exclusively. That said, the hotel is thoughtfully designed with generous space, allowing the retreat to feel calm, contained, and unrushed.
Our programming takes place in dedicated wellness and gathering spaces set apart from the main hotel flow, creating a sense of privacy and ease throughout the retreat. We also intentionally keep the group small, which helps maintain an intimate, grounded atmosphere without feeling crowded.
7
How do I get there?
The retreat includes two complimentary shared airport transfers scheduled at different times to and from Aethos Ericeira, scheduled to align with common arrival and departure times. Full details will be shared closer to the retreat.

If you choose not to join the included transfers, you’re welcome to make your own way to the hotel. The drive from Lisbon Airport to Aethos Ericeira takes approximately 45 minutes (depending on traffic). Ride-share apps like Uber or
Bolt are widely available and typically cost around €35.
If you’d prefer a private transfer or plan to rent a car, we’re happy to arrange that for you.
8
Do I need to run at a specific pace?
No. All paces are welcome. Runs are structured with multiple groups and flexible options so you can run at a pace that feels right for you — whether that’s steady, conversational, or easy.
9
What running level do I need to be at to join?
Endorfina is designed for runners of all levels. As long as you’re comfortable running regularly 3-5 days a week, the retreat can be tailored to meet you where you are. Distances, routes, and pacing are adapted to the group each day.
10
How long are the runs?
Run distances vary day to day and are always optional and adjustable. You’ll have the ability to shorten, extend, or modify runs based on how you’re feeling and what you want out of the experience.

12
What if I’m recovering from an injury or coming back from a break?
That’s completely okay. Runs can be adapted, and rest days or lighter movement options are always respected. This retreat is about running sustainably, not pushing through discomfort.
13
Will I be left behind if I’m slower?
No. Runs are led with designated trail runners at both the front and back of the group, so no one is ever left on their own. Groups are paced intentionally, with flexible distances and regrouping points built in to ensure everyone feels supported and comfortable.
14
What surfaces will we be running on?
Runs take place on a mix of coastal paths, trails, and quieter roads. Routes are chosen for their views, flow, and enjoyability — not technical difficulty.
15
What if I want a rest day instead of running?
That’s always an option. You’re encouraged to listen to your body. Recovery, wellness, and time to explore are equally important parts of the retreat.
16
Do I need a visa for Portugal?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and passport. Portugal is part of the Schengen Area, and many travelers (including those from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and much of Europe) can enter for short stays without a visa.

We recommend checking the most up-to-date entry requirements based on your passport well in advance of travel. You’re responsible for ensuring you have the correct documentation to enter Portugal.

If you’d like help confirming requirements or planning your arrival, our travel advisor is happy to assist.
17
Do you cater to special dietary requirements?
Yes. Aethos Ericeira is able to accommodate a range of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Daily breakfast and lunch are included, along with select group dinners. Onda is Aethos’ on-site restaurant, which focuses on fresh, seasonal, and locally inspired coastal cuisine. Meals are served in a way that allows for choice and flexibility.

If you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when confirming your spot so we can ensure the team is aware in advance.
